    I'm not gonna post videos, but I'll throw my hat in the ring by reluctantly agreeing that the following songs are better than the originals even though I truly cherish the artists who did the originals...

    "When the Levee Breaks" by Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy as covered by Led Zeppelin

    "Sweet Jane" by Lou Reed as covered by The Cowboy Junkies

    "I'll Be Doggone" by Marvin Gaye as covered by Solomon Burke

    "Alone" by Colin Newman as covered by This Mortal Coil

    "Summertime Blues" by Eddie Cochran as covered by Blue Cheer
    "In nonsense is strength."
