when is Howard going to get around to putting together that Best of Artie tribute he promised a month or so after Artie was let go?
"Screaming douchebags on my TV, our heroes are dumb and loud"

Odds are the reason for the delay is, he's probably trying to find a publisher for the book. Artie had his book deal for a second book when he was still on the Stern show, a little bit before he got kicked off the show, attempted suicide and was in and out of mental facilities. So odds are, whatever publisher he had signed with, that deal is longer on the table, and any sort of signing bonus had to be returned. Book companies are very rigid with time frames and deadlines. I can't see them waiting around a year or two for him to get his shit together. And honestly, how would Artie go about promoting the book? He's persona non grata on the Stern show. Mainstream Talk shows are probably well aware of how he acted on the Joe Buck show, so that leaves them out. He's mentally incapable of doing a promotion tour/book signing. He could promote it on his own show, but besides maybe 5 people who post on this site, does anyone listen to it? I don't know anyone in my personal life that is even aware that he has a radio show.
So trying to shop a book, by a C level celebrity, who has no sort of public exposure, and isn't fit to promote the thing..... it might take awhile. He might have better luck shopping it as a fiction story. Because I guarantee that most of it is bullshit. Like his bulshit reasoning for stabbing himself, that he's sober, etc, etc...
The fact that Artie is still in the process of crashing and burning might have something to do with the delay.
Ich bin ein Tanz Narr

That fat fuck prolly hasnt finished the damn book yet.
Howard cant block it if it isnt done yet.
Howard's going to look pretty shitty when Artie comes into Sirius to do O&A's show.
But I suppose Howard is used to looking pretty shitty these days.
My comments are based on my opinion only.

Artie mentioned last night that he 'has a book coming out' and is still working with the publishers and editors
