I'm one of those old farts that remembers watching the original cast, live, and I just can't get over them. There have been other good ones, and Phil Hartman might be the best of those, but man, you just had to be there in the 70's to appreciate how badass it was.....

I thought Eddie Murphy was awesome on SNL. Too bad he's viewed by his most recent shit.

He was awesome on SNL. I LOLed more a his stuff than any of the earlier stuff. Buckwheat Sings, and James Brown's Celebrity Hot Tub were 2 of my favorites.

I vote for Eddie as the best on screen of all time, and phil hartman as the funniest writer they had. i bet phil would have eclipsed eddie if he hadn't driven his gf insane.

his was the most cerebral comedy: his Reagan scripts are gold and he was the writing genius behind some of the best other comics out at the time. PeeWee's Funhouse was partly written by Phil. His Jumby the Genie was written by him.

btw, so far my favorite parts of Thrones is when they show Kalesi's baby dragons, like in your av. they are so cute, especially when they try to act ferocious, that I keep wanting a pair for myself.

I went with Belushi because I remember watching the first show at a friends house before we were old enough to buy alcohol and he was the one we all talked about week after week when we got together to watch the show again. I even went to see the Blues Brothers perform at the Boston Garden with Billy Joel and Eddie Money. That Eddie Money commercial cracks me up every time I see it too.
