    Ice Riding

    G'day. A week or two ago the conditions became perfect for riding on the frozen river/waterways around here. I took an afternoon off work to enjoy getting oot on the bike. Here's some pics from that excursion... I have a bunch of them.

    This is the little brook I used to get from my house down to the river

    In the summer, the mountain in the background is a really nice spot to ride to...

    I mean the ice riding is very cool, but really, the fact that you're invisible is really the best part

    Gonna head oot onto this lake. The plan is to do a loop around the island (which is the body of land to the right) and hook back up with the river downstream.





    Gotta be vigilant aboot where you are going....little ribbon of open water here. I found oot by accident a couple years ago you can actually cross these if you are going fast enough and lean back/full throttle.
