Does anyone have Fearnet as a regular cable channel?

I can get some of its programming through Comcast On Demand, but there doesn't seem to be a real channel for it. Its website doesn't really give a clear answer. Anyone have that?

How is it? The Comcast On Demand thing only has a few free movies from it and shows like "Tales from the Crypt."

I've seen Chiller at my friend's house through Direct TV (I think). I don't know why Comcast doesn't carry that one either.

My shitty cable provider doesn't offer a bunch of channels I want.

what do all the horror aficionados think is the scariest movie ? I think The Shining is still the scariest one.

It's definitely up there. It's kind of hard for me to say because the only horror movie that really scared me (I was 8 when I watched it) was a movie that's probably more funny than scary. I watched "Return of the Living Dead" as a kid while sleeping over at a friend's house, and I was convinced it would give me nightmares for the rest of my life. For the record, I really love that movie but it scared the shit out of me as a kid.

The Shining is also a masterpiece of filmmaking. You have a great story written by King, one of the best actors in Hollywood playing the lead, and an A list director who put it all together. You'd never really say that about a Jason or Freddy movie (and I love those too).

Jacob's Ladder scared the crap outta me - it was the whole tone of the film, and the demons....I saw it first when it came out when I was 12 and it scared the hell outta me. I tried again about 6 years ago thinking maybe it wouldn't bother me since I was a kid then, and it was even scarier. I still wanna try to watch it again though, maybe on halloween. Also Shining was the only other movie that scared me - that weird monster thing at the end gave me nightmares.

FIOS in my area caries both chiller and fearnet. Chiller was great when it debuted as a channel but I can't say I find anything good to watch on either channel now. HDNET movies has some good older flicks even on demand.

    The Shining or The Exorcist.
