Im not too sure if O & A wouldnt exist without Howard though. While I definitely feel that O & A were directly inspired by Howard's brand of honest radio, I find it ironic that Howard was the one that started the "honest guy in radio" routine, but we find out that he is anything but. Who knows. Maybe when Howard had a drive to do good radio there was a level of honesty there. Nowadays, there are so many lies that he's choking on them. Sad.

I still listen to alot of the old shows, but seeing what he has become, I cant help but question on how "real" some of those callers were, some of those bits were, and just how spontaneous he was.

I've been around just not making many memorable quotes. After swithing to O&A Jimmy has become my favorite radio personality. Sabbath rules, the other day I listened to an old show where O&A had Mr. Iommi in studio. Jim was great with the interview because he was beating himself up during the interview.

Worst of O&A either 08-31 or 09-01 of this year. Can't link because of site rules but they are easy to find. Will they be stopping in So Cal this summer?

He's 100% right. The other day I went on Youtube and listened to O&A "interview" Rogan and Penn Jillette. It was nearly two hours and it was just them conversing. No staff prepared questions, no cock or money talk. It was fun and they went over an hour past the normal end of the show.

I also listened to the Frank Oz interview and it, too, felt just like a hangout. Norton and Anthony Bourdain asked some great questions...questions that they were actually curious about. Frank Oz sounded so comfortable within the group.

I always have to add the caveat that I still can't stand Opie, but he seems to know when to shut the fuck up. He knows when to let people do their own thing and not step all over them.

"Norton and Anthony Bourdain asked some great questions...questions that they were actually curious about." That is the biggest difference. I haven't heard Howie ask a question that I think he is really curious about in a long time. He asks questions that he thinks people want to hear and could care less about the answers. O&A and their guests who help with interviews actually care about the answers.

Fucking dumbshit Howard doesn't even know who the other members of Sabbath are. Everytime he had Ozzy on he would say, "You don't need those other guys!" Fucking out of touch douchebag. Last Ozzy concert I went to (his last album) the arena was half empty. Long live the Sab 4!

Not sure. North American tour dates haven't been announced yet. They do have shows booked in Néw Zealand, Australia & Japan already starting around April..
