I love how people claim it as "fact" that arties back on drugs, you don't anything for a fact you are making assumptions based on a guy scratching his nose once during that stupid phone call with the sports betting guy. Artie has not seemed out of it like he does when hes high on any shows last week. The fucker falls asleep on air or mid sentence when hes high, he doesnt just have droopy eyes and touch his face once in awhile, he very well may be on buprenorphine or some type of benzo, if I gambled I would put my money on him not being high at all last week. Id be willing to bet during the revamp of the show the higher ups definitely had a sit down with him and implemented some type of random drug testing policy. They don't just give a guy a huge studio and a show on tv and a big payday and say "here ya go now get high all you want fall asleep on the air", Im sure he gets a drug test. He didnt miss any days he didnt have a raspy voice and aside from a couple times looking tired and touching his face he seemd like he was peppy enough to carry on interesting conversations. I cant prove he wasnt but noone can prove that he was either, the whole "yep arties definitely high shit is getting really tired. I could care less if he gets high or not, this show isnt my life if its on its on if its off big deal, I will say though if he does blow it and gets fired I wont have any sympathy for him, there are so many people who would be so grateful to have that job and all the money he makes and he acts like he doesnt even give a shit.

i hear u bro, I don't want him to blow this show either, he'll put a lot of people out of work especially Bocchetti, and I don't want to see that happen. But the truth hurts sometimes. Did u see the video of him falling asleep in mid sentence while standing? It's posted somewhere here. Our fellow member "Double Blizz" was skeptical too, until he saw that video. If u watch the ENTIRE John Avello interview, Artie fidgets, scratches, nods and almost falls out of his chair. Not because Avello was boring (he was) but because Artie was wrecked.

Don't fool urself in that maybe he's tired, or jet lagged or whatever. Dude has a job where he doesn't have to be at work until 9pm! And he's done by 1am! Plenty of time to drive back to Hoboken (10 minutes) away and rest up before having to come back the next day again at 9pm. This ain't Howard where he complained that getting up at 4:30am was too early for him and he's not a morning person yadda yadda.

Look, I love the guy and the show, but he's still getting high ON AIR. We have to stop making excuses for him and just enjoy the show while it lasts..
