The one I loved was Panetta recommending that our solders not get a raise or up to 1% of a raise to cut costs but no a fucking word about cutting the contractors we (The U.S.) hire to fight overseas. We pay those contractors 4-12 times as much as we pay our soldiers for doing the same job.

They gave the active duty military a 1.7% raise this year. Then they instituted a 2% tax increase on federal emplyees, including the military. So all servicemen got a .3% paycut.

spending can be good. its wasteful spending that is bad.
if you spend money to replace a leaking roof, thats good spending.
if you spend money only on buckets and mops and labor, thats wasteful spending, even though one can argue its spending far less

First of all: The whole world should pay US for defending the world/democracy. No.. Instead most of the world is retarded and angry that US (and Israel) fights terrorism. I personally am thankful for all the sacrifices that US/Israel have done to make the world better. The US people have to be a kind people to try to make the world better.

But since the world hate US for its interventions. Fuck the world.
Instead of helping people. Fuck em. Think USA first. Take home all the troops from Japan/Korea/Germany and so on. Why help them? They have enough money. They are rich.

All USA economical problem is because of the fanatical military budget and immigration. Cut military by 50%. If someone does anything: send cruise missiles and stop worrying about collateral damage. (as usual: Fuck em.)

Stop non-crusial immigration for 5-10 years and the unemployment would be gone. Less unemployment = less cost for the government + more income from taxes. USA can never create 4 million new jobs each year to cover all the immigrants.

Aren't you watching the news??? Automatic cuts are set to kick in March 1st. The ONE responsibility of the federal government (as outlined in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution). Yet this President wants to treat it as discretionary while social program spending - not defined in the Constitution - is treated as mandatory.
