What does it matter? Howard already has his contract signed so this won't change his current shit show one iota.

I think he actually does want to continue (probably on an even more reduced schedule) after his current contract expires. If some of these new shows catch on it's less likely that Sirius would be interested in re-signing him.

If this is what spurred on all this sudden interest in the show by Howard he may have been given an ultimatum of fixing what is wrong this year (probably his last guaranteed year) or the will option out of years 4-5. Maybe evenif sxm opts out there may still be a no compete clause. That would effectively shit Howard up and keep him off any airwaves for 2 years. Keep in mind he only had a 2 year deal with AGT. The sky could he falling in on Howard in 2014.

I hope this is the case. But to be honest, Sirius won't need a no compete clause to fuck up Howard. Unless the man is willing to work his old hours for substantially less money there isn't going to be anyone out there willing to hire his Wiggy ass. And what media outlet is going to build him a studio to enable him to shoot Howard TV episodes?
