I see one Marine/Cop with a prison hairbrush up his ass in the near future.
I see one Marine/Cop with a prison hairbrush up his ass in the near future.
Watch that video again.
As the officer steps towards the guy...the guy does indeed move in closer by taking a step in and getting right in the officer's face...and this was while
talking...and something tells me that some spit may have flown from the guy's mouth directed towards the officer.
The guy did have a lit cigarette in his hand...and we are unable to read the rest of his body language.
We can't see what was going on with his eyes...and with his hands...and something tells me that as he stepped up towards
the officer with his chest out like that (..to bump the guy?)..that his hands started to clench up and his elbows were starting to bend.
As a total on scene judgement call...that officer probably did the correct thing in taking that guy down quick on the spot....to restrain him..and to
also probably teach him a thing or two about stepping up to an officer like that with an attitude like that.
There is probably more going on there that we're not fully aware of...such as this guy's calls to their superior etc.
The officer knew that he was recording..and he covered himself quite nicely with the guy down on the ground and telling
him to let up and open his fists etc.
It wasn't all right...but it also wasn't all wrong.
There's more to all of this...but I'll skip mentioning stuff that's probably worth mentioning.

cop was a typical asshole. military enlistment has nothing to do with anything here.

Typical tactic. I can't speak for cops, but I was a prison guard/CO, and it's a common move. When a prisoner had an ass beating coming, you'd just make sure it happened off camera and everyone would back up everyone else's story if he decided to complain or file a lawsuit. I never took part in anything like that, but it usually happened when an inmate seriously fucked up a guard for no good reason. I have no doubt police pull the same thing.
Not in this case. If you notice the cop provides the narrative of what can't be seen. He does this cuz he knows that film is considered private info and kept in the officers personnel file where it can not be requested under the freedom of information act. That film is only used to corroborate a clean bust or to show to the guys back at the station for a good laugh. It was an insider that released that copy of it. Some one on the inside is pissed off at what's being allowed.
The above statement is being made of my own free will. This site neither condones nor agrees to anything I post but for my right to post what I feel.
One thing I think we should all keep in mind here is that law enforcement have really difficult jobs; normal people deal with the dregs of society rarely, they deal with them every day. I'm not excusing anything, I just don't think we should lump all police, sheriff's deputies, and FBI agents in with these guys. I've never had a problem with a sheriff's deputy in my life, and I'd say most of the police I've dealt with have been good. There are bad departments for sure, and I think there's a real culture of "Us vs. Them" in a lot of decaying, urban areas and in poverty stricken rural areas. But I don't think saying law enforcement=bad is a fair statement to make.
That's the kind of cop who needs some asymmetrical warfare waged on him.
Someone's colostomy bag is full...
I hate all the people in this video equally.
