WHen did Howard finally admit the he is full Jewish?

Listening to Stern Show Shuffle from 1999 and he's still pedaling the "half-Italian" lie.

I actually remember hearing Howard come clean... Robin even said at the time -- quite innocently -- "I thought you were half Italian?" -- but I don't recall when that happened.
