Mother 'French kisses' son in prison to pass drugs: Oxycodone passed in lip-lock


A loving mom, who demonstrated she may have been too much of a loving mom after French-kissing her son on her way out after visiting him in prison, caught the prison guards attention. According to the New York Daily News on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, the mother’s kiss wasn’t as much as a sign of deep affection as it was a way for her to pass Oxycodone pills to her son via the mouth.
The mom's "French kiss" has got her into trouble and she now may be joining her son behind bars, according to the New York Daily News. When Kimberly Margeson, who is 54, planted a kiss on her incarcerated son it drew attention because it wasn’t the kind of kiss usually shared by relatives. After they locked lips mom passed her son, 30-year-old William Partridge, two strong painkillers.
According to police, it is not known if they actually used their tongues to pass along the drugs. Margeson was arrested on a felony drug count and a count of promoting prison contraband, which is a misdemeanor. She was released on a $2,000 bond after she plead not guilty.
Apparently Margeson put the pills into her mouth before entering the jail to see her son. She then passed the pills into his mouth with that long lip-lock, which is an unusual kiss between mother and son.
Passing drugs into the mouth of a person behind bars with a kiss is an old trick often seen in prison settings during visits from outsiders. A kiss like that is usually done between the prisoner and their partner, not between mother and son.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons mentions kissing in their rules and regulations for visitors. It says that staff may limit contact to prevent contraband from being introduced. This is an old trick and a long French kiss between mother and son certainly must have sent up the red flags for the prison guards.
Seeing a mother plant a romantic looking kiss on her son’s mouth, would have certainly clued the prison guards in to check for any contraband.
