I see what you're saying, but the dilemma is that the regulars here that post and rep each other frequently build an immense amount of rep power and if we see some new guy that makes a funny post that deserves some credit, one rep blast from anyone of us will give them full rep colors.

One of the forums I used to frequent actually gave the members the ability to gauge the rep they gave, so for a post from a noob that makes you laugh, you can hand out a hand full of points instead of the massive rep blast.

A dog scooting it's asshole across the floor always makes me laugh.

A single neg rep for this post moved me from about 20 medals and 20 green boxes to five piles of shit and 15 red blocks. I guess I pissed off a real power broker.
