What does Artie see in Brock?

It's not funny, it's not fun.

Are they related or something? Brock seems like just another one of his hacky hangers on that Artie feels too bad to get rid of.

I didn't mind him so much until they decided to have a super lame 30 minute interview of Andre the Giant, ugh WTF

Just my two cents, but I'm a forum newb so my opinion doesn't really matter.

    Your thoughts...

Am I in the minority here?

I liked him with Bocchetti at the super bowl, but, the andre the giant and dangerfield impressions are quite tired. I though he might have been Rick's friend based on some things he said, something like ~i've known him for years, so something like that. I don't really know how he got hooked up with the show, what he does when he's not on the show, etc. He's good on the live look ins when he sits in on the show, but in general, phone interviews are blah. Welcome to the forum, mix it up, don't be a gunnar

Brock was just some guy that called into the show, right? And Nick definitely didn't know him beforehand, I was listening to an old show the other day where Nick says something along the lines of "I thought I was going to hate Brock, but I really like him. He's genuinely funny and has good comedic timing." Or something like that.

Andre was funnier when he was gay. Artie shot himself in the foot with the Culliver thing. Now they have to be careful with the gay jokes, though it looked like they were headed in that direction anyway.

I don't remember him calling in. Like I said, I though Rick said something about knowing him but wasn't sure. I have no idea how he just started on the show, it was strange, he just was on and staying at Artie's shore house getting yelled at by his crazy i-talian mother (redundant)

Brock was a caller on 04-02-12 hour 3 33:40 in. Strange call. Nick and Artie acted like this was the first time they talked to him.

I liked his Andre the Giant impression when it first happened and also his Rodney was great but like everything Artie drives it into the ground.

Andre the Giant singing The 12 Days of Christmas was about 7 days too long.

Listening live is never fun because you cant fast forward through bits such as said Andre the Giant interview.

yup, that got a fast forward about half way through, Tom Papa is so milquetoast he got a fast forward (he must not be on tv anymore as the toupe and the rest has disappeared) and then a band and tony the gander were on the docket, so I just deleted.

Brock is a bore. Joe Matarese= radio coal. Sometimes I think Artie feels sorry for some of these guys & puts them on out of pity. And I am very close to Bochetti overload. Artie had him do that dopey GPS thing the other night, then REPEAT the whole damn thing. Thank God I listen the next day at work & can FF through some of the more interminable bits.
    This is better than rejuvenation.

Yes, Bocchetti in very small doses can be somewhat amusing but he is being overused like crazy. We get it, he can't speak well. & Spike Eskin makes Brent Stover sound interesting.

It is starting to seem that the show/Artie is laughing more at Mike B. than with him.

Also, it seems people like Soul Joel (whoever that cretin is) and Dan Falto (Mister Roboto) are treating Mike B. like a "slow adult".

Stop the Mike B. drops too (he is there damn it) and let Mike be Mike.

    I like "raw" Mike.

I'd love to be able to suggest bits for them; but the reality is someone on the show needs to be researching interesting sports/entertainment news for Artie to riff on, that's it. You wouldn't need a single guest or band to fill up any time. The callers could mix it up easily.
