3.2 miles, but I was off my normal pace...I hate the first 4 minutes of any run. I am usually warmed up by then, but those first 4 minutes make my knees pop. I hate getting old.

Did my run on all grass and dirt today..minimus shoes

have been developing an hangnail or turf toe or something....luckily the pain went away pretty quick

Felt great, no kidding at 2.5 miles I found myself in a trance...awesome...like the ground was passing by under me and I was effortlessly just floating...I've only felt that a few times, but it is incredible...There's something about running off pavement that helps you get there...I know that

Adrenaline is without a doubt the best drug

Indeed. 34 years of running have destroyed my feet. Be careful with that...

    None.

Not even sure what turf toe is. That seems like more of a football injury. My problems came from kicking rocks on the trail, (accidentally of course) and the time I woke up and swung my feet out of bed and essentially kicked my dresser. I screamed so loudly my ex wife thought I had had a heart attack. The toe turned black but being the obsessive compulsive runner I am had to go out to try to run. Strangely, I ran great. When I took a shower or put on shoes, it was agony.

One more day to enter for a chance to win a flight down to Portland and train with Mo Farah.

Although I don't know if Lucozade is even sold in North America. I've never seen it.
