Apart from being an all-around solid guy and runner, he's turned more than one of us on to Born to Run, a book that has given me a deeper appreciation for running.

I've just loaded the audiobook onto Mrs. S' iPhone. Looking forward to hear what she thinks of it.

Maybe there will be a Leadville Trail 100 Run in our future.

One thing i notice different about my runs are that I don't get winded as I used to but I sure feel my calves hold me back. I feel if I run my hardest to the point of winded, I can do my best time yet.. But that will mean nothing If I don't stick to form.

Two miles. I struggled today mentally- "I am too busy to run, I didn't sleep well last night, my meeting ran long and I should get home, bla bla". Ran slow ma Joe to Main Street and it sucked. No more night runs for a while.
