Constanza! We speak your name!
Ran 4.09 miles in 35 min and 32 sec. Average pace 8 :41 min/mile.
One thing i notice different about my runs are that I don't get winded as I used to but I sure feel my calves hold me back. I feel if I run my hardest to the point of winded, I can do my best time yet.. But that will mean nothing If I don't stick to form.
And since you brought the book up....I'm gonna drop some quotes...lol
“Perhaps all our troubles - all the violence, obesity, illness, depression, and greed we can't overcome - began when we stopped living as Running People. Deny your nature, and it will erupt in some other, uglier way.”
I try to think of this quote when focusing on form
“Imagine your kid is running into the street and you have to sprint after her in bare feet," Eric told me when I picked up my training with him after my time with Ken. "You'll automatically lock into perfect form--you'll be up on your forefeet, with your back erect, head steady, arms high, elbows driving, and feet touching down quickly on the forefoot and kicking back toward your butt."
Don't run to music anymore but if I did I'd be running to this today.
the Good Lord saw fit to give me strep throat in order to cure my flu; won't be runnin' for a bit. actually miss it.

1-17-2013. A Goatcabin. Snow still optimal. Had to unleash "the loaf of death" at the 8 minute mark. Paradise reigned from then on...
