ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A Boon family is suing Disneyland after they claim the actor who portrayed the White Rabbit character from “Alice in Wonderland” refused to hug or touch their children because of their skin color.

Jason and Annelia Black of San Diego County said the person in the rabbit costume also acted impatiently as their young kids posed for a picture.
The Black’s, however, said it was a different scene when a Caucasian family arrived.

“There were two other kids that came up. The rabbit showered them. Hugged them, kissed them, posed with them, and took pictures. Meanwhile, that made my kids feel horrible,” said Jason.

The family immediately filed a complaint with the theme park.

The Black’s said they were offered VIP passes and $500, but they turned down both offers.

In addition, they were asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. The family said they want a public apology and the employee involved in the incident to be fired. CBS2 was unable to receive a statement from Disneyland.

My theory is they were behaving like little wild savage assholes, and the Rabbit was making a statement by ignoring them

I'm automatically suspicious of anyone who wants to dress up as an amusement park mascot and especially any man who volunteers to play Santa.

What man in their right mind that YOU know actually VOLUNTEERS to be surrounded by kids and have them sit on his lap, pose for pictures, listen to their bullshit and what have you, for 8 hours a day? Most men can't tolerate their own kids for more than two hours at a shot.

Now from what I've learned from being in the business and knowing people in it, most of the amusement park characters are college students, just doing what they gotta do to get by... and most are female. That's some consolation. But you don't know which are the 20 year-old girls and which are the (albeit few) 40 year-old men. And these Santas? Fucking unsettling.
