I think Jodi would refuse a deal.
She's loved all of the attention the trial brought her, so I am sure she is all gung ho about another one.

...i suppose she could refuse but shes gambling with her life if she does. the defense scored a big victory and im sure theyre busy calculating after hearing jurors what worked and what didnt. imo since they were a 'death qualified jury' the outcome should have been one way or another not 'we cant decide unanimously'. somebody on the jury was bs-ing when they went thru voir dire. im not a big supporter of the death penalty generally speaking but i thought jodi deserved it. could i have signed my name to that? i dont know, that would be tuff i know it would weigh on me forever. id just like to see jodi put away and forgotten. enough of her. the sooner they can conclude this punishment phase the better for the family. also since the jury was 8 to 4 imo the state isnt going to want to dump more money into trial theyve spent 2 million already.![]()
yesterday Sheriff Joe said no more interviews for Jodi.
I am not a fan of the death penalty for the most part. But for Jodi? I don't think I'd have any problem signing off on her death warrant. With that said though, the worst thing they could do to her right now is end it this ridiculous trial, and lock her up forever, so she can be soon forgotten.
...i understand but....
...if its not legal you can be sure tv stations will file for a hearing. as a convicted murderer she doesnt have the same rights she had prior to conviction but i dont know what the correct answer is, if sheriff joe has that strong of a pimp hand. sometimes he likes the media interviewing prisoners in pink underware out in jail tents in arizona with no comfort air to sit in. hes kind of a sadist.

My favorite sheriff Joe policy is the tv's in tent city are tuned to the weather channel 24/7 so they always know fucking hot is.
And 23 hours a day in her cell...alone
Regardless, she will die in jail one way or the other...it was reported that it's a fallacy regarding a chance for parole...that doesn't exist in Arizona anymore with a Life sentence. So, it's either sooner...or later...for our Ms. Jodi![]()

Here's the thought process of the jury
"On one hand, every single conceivable fact, evidence, logic and rationale points to a death penalty sentence. There isn't even the smallest sub-atomic particle of reason or basis why she shouldn't get the death penalty"
"On the other hand... I kinda want to fuck her .... so I'm not really sure what to do here... maybe I can still fuck her if I fight to save her life?"

Jodi probably feels that setting in a cell alone for 23 hours a day without giving interviews is a fate worse than death.
