So they have a Superfan Trivia contest and they don't ask the scrub that hosts the Superfan show on his channel. Instead they have on Mark. If that isn't a big enough hint I don't know what is.

I honestly almost feel bad for the guy at this point. Almost.

IDK why? I mean Mutts site is one big wiggy suck fest now. I mean Howard got his way.
SFN drives people away from the show; the only thing Mutt has in common with a fan is that he blows.
ok, who writes "goo goo at a at a, fukin jew heeb"?
"fuckyoubigot i dont like you're sig" "repeated annoying comments"
The Lord is not my Shepherd for I am not a sheep.
I would assume Mutt gets some kind of monetary compensation for Roundtable, so he probably wouldn't be eligible to compete for prize money![]()
Does anyone like Mutt anymore?
My comments are based on my opinion only.

Yep...every contest before has been a Superfan from the Roundtable...ALL appear on Mutt's SFRT....
These "fans" didn't know ANYTHING about the show....I KNOW MORE from listening every day for 24yrs....they sucked!
For YEARS Howard used to start the show with "I was on the SFN"..."I SAW this or that on the SFN"....then it all stopped...we were "ON TO HIM" and how the site influenced the SHOW and content...writing. With Sal and Benjy and just about EVERYONE on staff on the SFN 24/7 (here too)
So on Sirius....Howard began "hating the SFN"...saying the fans are wolves and meanies etc...when we all KNOW it wasn't true.
He never discussed the SFRT.....Robin used to call the show sternshowroundtable....pretending they never listen...
so did Howard....
Most of the CALLERS were from the SFN....(and now here)...the Trivia contest winners from the SFN and SFRT.
now that the show is on 3 days..we never hear Mutt's SFRT preview...
nor has HOward EVER discussed the show! you would THINK HE WOULD discuss a show on Sirius that is all about HIM and HIS show.....
....instead he ignores it....
because it's where Benjy & Sal go to gather ideas for content.....and where TimS gets fan feedback from the posts and threads!!
That contest was a JOKE....the questions were Sooooooooo easy....and they couldn't answer most of them right! a Joke....IMO
rant over

They HAVE had staffers win money, but I *think* they have to go through some formalities or loopholes to have that occur. Maybe they didn't want to anymore, maybe he just does hate Mutt.
And for the second time this morning, I'm agreeing with BenBas in that the questions were way too easy overall (though two of three DID answer most of them). If it's "superfans", then the you don't need a sliding scale of easy to difficult questions. They should ALL be difficult! I've listened a long time until the past few years and still knew a good "portion" of these questions. Way too easy overall.
Uhhhhhhhh... Huh?
Assuming Mutt can't compete, they still could have let him host it. Having a Superfan contest and not involving the guy who heads the Super Fan Round Table is a real douchebag move on Howie's part, but it is the first funny thing he has done in awhile.
I was glad they had Mark on. It was long overdue. I know he has met most of the staff but I don't believe he has ever actually met Howard until today. I remember back in the late 1990s reading his show recaps and couldn't believe he did that everyday (5 days a week back then) for free. He could have easily added a message board to his site and it would have killed SFN back then. I was hoping he would win the $5,000. He has done more for the Stern fans than Mutt ever has.
I didn't mean to come off as criticizing Mark, I love that guy for what he's done. His show write ups are the only real proof we have to correct Howie's revisionist history (before people started recording mp3's of the show, anyway). AND he had the balls to stand up to Howard when he tried to pay him off back in the day.
