BTW, there's only one place in the entire state of Mississippi where you can get an abortion and in North Dakota, there's a 72-hour waiting law which means that if you live 4 hours away from the facility (North Dakota is [geographically] a big state), it amounts to a seemingly insurmountable obstacle for many, many women.
And in Texas, there was a woman, who after one of her exams, discovered that her baby was going to be born with (something like) fused limbs, decided to have an abortion. In Texas, the doctors must perform a fetal sonogram and must ask questions of the patient like "do you want to hear the heartbeat?" and other questions that, despite the patient, the doctor and everyone on staff, realizing the resolute feelings of the patient, must be subjected to questions that challenge her right to simply have an abortion.
It's outrageous. rant off.
