It's an American attitude. Europeans eat horse routinely. If I was starving horse meat would be on the menu no problem. If its just BK trying to increase their profit margin then they should be fined heavily to discourage it from happening again.

They might eat it in Europe but not in the UK and Ireland. I couldn't eat horse meat, theyre not bred for eating.

I suggested BK the other day and my daughter reminded me of the story about the Horse in the meat , Right away i said "Scratch BK off of the list".

Burger King is really the only fast food chain in my area that I will eat a gas station sandwich instead of. but Americans are the only people grossed out by non choice cuts/animals. It's considered shocking to eat a buffalo burger for fucks sakes.

I like to eat strange shit. When I was in Mississippi I ate alligator and snake meat while hanging out with some cool hillbillies. It was good and it tasted a little like chicken.

I would feel weird about eating stuff like elephant or whale... you know, the endangered species.

When I was in French Guiana I had a horse steak ... it was not that good. Kinda like a "steakum." Pak (a local type of ..uh gopher) was delicious however. Alligators make better boots , belts, and suitcases than fricassees.

Im not sure if I would have a problem with it. If it tasted good, I dont really see why not. Though if I ordered a burger from BK I would at least expect it to be beef, unless they say otherwise. Though at 99 cents a burger, asking for it to be pure beef may be asking for way too much.
