I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but people accused him of setting it up because his friend had a pretty good idea they were coming and Bubba was laying in wait (I can't remember it very well, but I think he gave them Bubba's info so they'd go to his sister's house or something like that) for them. Their reaction is real, even if Bubba set it up.

it was during his divorce, so he was staying at his sister/brother-in-law's house while heather occupied his house.

someone used to live there with tarek (bubba's brother-in-law), I think he was tarek's roommate. the mormons would come by to visit him. even with the roommate gone and moved out, the mormons would continue to come by. tarek wasn't real forceful in telling them to beat it, so bubba stepped in and cut a mcgilicutty, double blue jay, op nop double sop hop, two fingered cul de sac, modern day, shoot styled promo on the mormons.
