Y'all think the Xanax thing is bad? In this little Hellhole they had a guy make front page headlines a few weeks ago, for selling less than an ounce of pot to an undercover cop (or an informant?) and he is now up for a MINIMUM of 6 months in state prison, plus a ridiculous monetary fine. The Maximum sentence could be 2 YEARS, but hopefully they won't go that far. It's absofuckin'lutely insane.

You shouldn't make fun of someone with a foreign accent because they can usually speak at least one more language than you.

I agree that doing that kind of time for that type of crime is ridiculous, but that's the law. Now if that guy goes into that courtroom and acts respectful they'll hopefully give him the minimum sentence and he'll be paroled in 2 months. But if he acts like an asshole like that dopey twat in the video they'll give him the two years and let him rot.

In this case I'm pretty sure they both spoke Spanish.

I was facing "up to 6 months loss of license" and a fine. The judge suspended my license for 3 hours and let me drive home from court. The next day I was at DMV paying to reinstate it and they didn't even know it was suspended yet.
