This time it's real...Stern is such a douche hole- today's semi-revelation is laying the groundwork for their adoption announcement by year's end.

The reason is simple - HE HAS NOTHING ELSE TO TALK ABOUT. Those supermarket rags pick up on the soundbite and change it to "Beth wants a baby or else". Then, similar to the wedding story they printed where she modoed wedding dresses and sure enough those two got married, she's gonna get pregnant. He is just doing it to generate publicity. If she is pregnant, then he's scooped the Enquirer. If not, then it keeps Malone off his back for a couple of weeks - "See, Mr. Malone, I can talk about stuff other than Tradio and the lawsuit against the company that's paid me over a billion dollars".

For a woman with access to nearly unlimited wealth, (so she doesn't really have to care for kids when she doesn't feel like it), the only sacrifice is a few months of nausea and weight gain, it's a no brainer.

For a woman with a prenup and whose guarantee of millions of dollars for life is tied to having a kid, it's a no-brainer.

For a woman nearing the end of her self-esteem being tied to her looks and being fawned over because she's relatively pretty and thin, and whose value to her husband diminishes every day she ages, it's a no-brainer.

For a woman whose friends have all had kids by now and whose lives are mostly about their kids, it's a no-brainer.

For a woman who has to look forward to nights in bed with Howard, watching TV and being repulsed by sex with him, the excuse of having kids is a no-brainer.

For a woman who is 19 years younger than her male spouse (who tend to live shorter lives), and who faces 20 years or more of widowhood right as her looks go completely, it's a no-brainer.

The plan:

1. Ramp up passive-aggressive acting out and eventually escalate to threats and fights hoping a tired and aging Howard will just give in.

2. If she is as asexual as she seems to be, things could just progress with kids and grandchildren.

3. If she actually wants to have satisfying sex and a real romance again, look for a "this just isn't working" phase followed by a divorce about 1-2 years after birth of the last child.

She will have to act fast to do all this and still find another husband of her self-perceived social status before her looks go so look for this to be an interesting year.

The beauty of the plan is that by the time the trap springs Howard will likely not have a radio show with which to make her miserable if he should so choose. They're not going to give him 10 minutes to rant about his gold digging wife on AGT or anything like that.
