I was zoning out during the tedious "Staff Revelation Game" when I heard that during the summer, he and Beth had a serious discussion about whether or not to have a baby - Howard said, "it was a last opportunity that we can really do this." He said, "Beth thinks we might have regrets" if they don't have a child, but he said he won't - but "I want that woman to be happy. She's a great woman."

(When he referred to Beth as "that woman," I was reminded of Bill Clinton's "I did not have sexual relations with that woman ..." But I digress.)

Adoption was brought up and Howard said that after Beth saw Sandra Bullock's baby, that Beth would adopt a black child in a minute.

When Gary hinted at fertility treatments, Howard said, "Beth is a woman who gets her period. ... I can get a woman pregnant in one month."

Howard also said: "I don't want to be a shitty father ... or a shittier father." - Then he gave a sarcastic chuckle.

I watched my 40 year old friend piss through her inheritance trying to get pregnant...Finally got pregnant when she cheated on her husband.. When the kid was born her hubby took 1 look and knew it wasn't his...So magically her child was the product of a rape........She was trying to get preggo by her rich old husband and the whole thing backfired.. I still laugh my ass of about it to this day.........She got a divorce, very little money and a kid that hates her guts....... Maybe there is a god.

Beth has been full time in the Hamptons since this past summer. I think that is when they seperated and now only meet together once a week for date night.
