Artie was High on 01/04's show

A person is allowed to touch their face without being high. I touch my face alot for some reason and Ive noticed alot of people do it also. When Im on opiates I constantly rub my eyes and and itch my nose not just a quick face scratch, unless I missed it I didnt see him do that very much last night.

i hear u dude. Not sure if u have DirectTV but go back and watch the entire John Avello call. He's really struggling. If u truly know the effects/evidence of opiate abuse it's ALL there during this segment. I love Artie & don't wish him any ill will but this is not good for the future of the show, or more importantly his health.

Yeah the re run is actually on now so I'll watch out for that segment, I must of not been paying attention.

He nods off a few times. I had to rewind the segment a few times to see it since I started nodding off during the segment also. I really don't give a shit about betting and John Avello's segments always bore me.

Edit - watched some more, he goes completely out slumped over and then snaps back up to life. Between Brent's Seacrest voice asking horrible bland questions and Avello's mind numbing answers I can't blame him.

Don't have Directv so I couldn't see the show, but it definitely sounded like he was messed up, the way he was berating the twins and the amount of energy he had. Not a fan of the twins, but it was still a good show since it was mostly everyone bullshitting back and forth. I don't wish anything bad to happen to Artie, but the shows when he's crazy and unpredictable (high) are better than when he tries to act like a real broadcaster. Since Nick left, this was the first show that he's been like this.

Dude, he was high, just admit it. Everyone was wondering how long it would have taken knowing his history. I still love the show just hope he doesn't blow it too bad or too soon. He's got a lot of people depending on him showing up every night..

yup. I noticed too that he becomes extra mean to the twins & Falato as he starts to come down. This was evidenced by the end of last nights show. He also starts singing/wailing all kinds of weird depressing songs and strumming the guitar when he's high, which he did a lot of last night.
