I apologize if this is old news and has already been posted.....I was off board for a while and this is new to me.

Apparently she'll do a brief media tour to promote her book.

I was surprised by the fact that she said she didn't know if she was coming back to the show in studio. I guess I missed that too.

I'm all for privacy; however, always thought it was EXTREMELY odd that she would announce the catheter/tumor/surgery and then never speak a word about the outcome.


I remember the second day she was back on the ISDN line and said to Howard "we have to discuss what to tell the audience". Howard stopped the conversation and said he would speak to her after the show. Then we got some malarkey about how they couldn't hook up by phone due to AGT airing. I always thought the handling of the situation simply stunk.


I was under the impression that Howard stopped the release of information....probably for some reason that benefitted him in some way.

I'm changing my response. Robin can tell all for her book and personal gain, but jerked around the listeners, some of whom were loyal to the show for decades! So, I hope her book fails miserably...and no one is interested in what she has to say.

I still wish her good health....but complete book failure.

I can't imagine anyone buying her book. It's a cook book, a vegetarian cook book. Robin knows nothing about health or nutrition and has spent a lifetime of being on extreme diets and yo-yo weight gains and losses.

How can anyone have the balls to brag about how their personal vegan diet saved their life when they can't take a limo 5 miles to get into work for almost 9 months straight? A job that is 3 days a week less than 5 hours a day. Only a 34 ego would do this. When they interview her are they supposed to pretend that nothing has been going on this past year?

Here is what I believe is the truth. Whatever the Hell Robin has going on with her is on lockdown by the staff obviously. Whenever asked they say it is her story to tell. The key word is "story." She has had no problem sharing on the air her being molested, shitting herself running, using vegetables as sex toys, etc. Who does she need to protect by not talking on the air about being sick? She doesn't have a husband or kids to worry about. The truth is months ago her management/PR team calculated that revealing her story when her book came out would help drive up sales. That is the reason for the ongoing silence.
