id be proud to say ive been listening for 22 years but since he started talking about AGT and that year long commercial, i gave up. i put it on for 5 minutes a day just to hear what people are bitching about in the morning thread then it goes right off. i used to never miss a minute of the show. now i could care less.

the show is complete shit and not worth my time.

I do enjoy listening as much as I can every day. I don't know if that makes me hardcore but I do enjoy the show and Howard.

What is a hardcore Howard fan?
I listen to all the shows at least twice. I usually sleep with the show on my earphones. (trying to catch up 25000 hours of audio)

I see HowardTV.

Howard revolutionised radio (with help from Jackie/Billy West). The whole world of radio copied Stern. Even i my country in the north pole we have radio that is 100% copy of Stern (including a host that is part of the tribe, but without a wig).

Each broadcast day I wish that the show will be like before the merger. When Howard had "fun" making the show. When he was motivated. Just listen to 2006 and how great it was or almost any of the shows from the mid 1990.

But I hate Howard. He made me hate him with a passion. He made me hate a whole race of people. His constant lying, self promotion, surrounded by a paid chorus of yes-men.

The Artie situation was the final straw for me. Artie just disappeared from the show.

Over 3 years later and Howard still haven't come clean about what happened. How difficult was is it? (and good radio)

"HowardTV cameras caught Artie use drugs during the 50cent interview. Sirius stepped in as his employee and demanded that he would get into rehab or that Artie's contract wont be renewed." (allegedly)

And after Artie's "suicide" attempt.
Instead of addressing it Howard first kept quiet for many days even if the news leaked on SFN days before media reported it.

Then Howard continued to lie. He said that Artie was not fired. That he was welcome back. That he would have an Artie special.
Lies lies lies.

Finally during a Benjy fight last year Howard said what happened with Arite's salary: Sirius "kept" it. (since they didn't hire a replacement)

Howard fan? Yes. And hate him.

I still pay for the Sirius / XM service but don't listen to Stern nearly as much as I did the first few years.
