    I don't think any of the bands formed by ex Guns N' Roses members have come anywhere close to matching the old band's greatness, including Axl's new version of GN'R.

    Old-school Guns was one of those bands where the whole was greater than the sum of it's parts, so to speak. They weren't the same when Steve Adler was fired, or when Izzy Stradlin left. The original band was just something extraordinary, and in my opinion, the greatest hard rock band of all time.

    Imagine what they could've been if they could of stayed together. What they did in just a few short years is amazing.
