There won't be a Super Bowl halftime show next year at Giants/Jets Stadium due to weather concerns. They could stage the show at an indoor facility and put it on the monitor at the stadium. In my opinion and from what I read in the New York newspapers there probably won't be a show. How can you force fans to sit in a stadium where the temperatures figure to be in the twenties longer than they have to. Because of security concerns fans will have to be in the stadium close to two hours before the game starts. If you have the extended halftime your looking at almost 6 hours that fans have to be exposed to the frigid weather. I still can't wait till next years game as I expect it to be the biggest debacle ever. It won't affect the players as they are conditioned to play in snow, sleet and freezing weather. Let's see how mostly casual fans and corporate types endure six hours in biting cold.
