okay. here's a serious question. I heard that recently, some dumbass school teacher in Colorado wrote some posts on her facebook page (or somewhere else) that indicated she loved smoking pot.

Now she'll probably be fired (for her stupidity alone) but here's the serious question: it's legal to smoke pot in Colorado. So long as she doesn't smoke on the job (or before or during classes...or I guess while she's grading tests...but that would apply to alcohol too), is it legal for a municipality to fire her?

High school students in Colorado are speaking out in defense of a teacher who was suspended for an outrageous series of Twitter posts, including racy half-naked photos and a note that said she brought drugs onto school grounds.

Carly McKinney, a 23-year-old math teacher at Overland High School in Aurora, Colo., admitted to posting the naughty photos to the account, which also featured a shot of her smoking what appeared to be marijuana.
Using the handle @crunk_bear, McKinney made several posts about abusing drugs.She was put on paid administrative leave on Tuesday after school officials found the account.
Since then, several students have spoken out in her defense and an online campaign to have her reinstated was gaining momentum on Twitter and Facebook.

Any smokers in California can tell you it's ridiculously cavalier there. It's like going to the candy store, literally. Row upon row of different strains. Assistants who will explain to you the benefits of different strains. You drive with it in your trunk, and if you get pulled over they give it back to you lol
