TRIVIA: See the ridge in the hood just above the grill? That's not there for style. Early on in testing, the designer (Alec Issigonis, same guy who brought us the Mini) felt the interior was too cramped, so he wanted it widened. Instead of designing an entirely new hood panel, they just widened they already had tooled up.
