I've basically given up trying to explain the way things are to these smug political assbags. I think I'm done. There is no reasoning with some people... people that dance on tragedy in some misguided mission to infect law abiding citizens' lives with some factor of more "control."

You can't control crazy. Yes, once the crazy has committed a criminal act you can lock him up at the cost of $100,000 per year... or kill him on the spot. Personally, I would prefer the latter. How's that for a deterrent to criminal behavior?
