Kids get away with doing it because young hair is so much healthier. Do it for 20 years and guess what? Not so healthy anymore.

Same thing with coloring. You can color your hair but you shouldn't do it more than once a month or so.

The actress January Jones (Mad Men) is actually losing clumps of her hair from overcoloring.

I love beautiful women. Curly haired, straight, wavy. I don't care.

It depends on your hair type. Girls with thick strong hair can use a flat iron more often than girls with fine hair. The finer your hair, the more brittle heat makes it.
But every day use of a flat iron will damage your hair, regardless of how strong, thick, or young it is. It will start breaking off at the ends. Then you have to cut it. Then those ends get brittle and break. So you cut it again.

Next thing you know you have Miley Cyrus' haircut.

My ex-wife paid obnoxious amounts of money to have her hair done by Jose Eber on a handful of occasions .... What a complete waste of money that was

    It's anorexia, not coloring.
