It's still funny that Artie does a Harry Caray impression and he's attempted harakiri.

My name is Cheryl and I'm your daughter.

With that said, I still think Artie is a helluva story teller and enjoy to hate to enjoy many of his antics...but the overt gay talk during Superbowl Week is juvenile

Duuuuuude -- Each 49er player is trained -- drilled in their head -- not to say anything controversial.

They're taught that if they say something offensive it'll cause a big distraction to the whole team.

They're also taught not to talk shit about gays, since it is San Francisco after all. And talking shit about gays offends most of the fans, including non-gays.

The 49ers have also been through controversial scandals in the past. See here: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/8059077/

So they hired this guy Jim Harbaugh who instilled discipline, who made sure they didn't talk shit.

You notice it's the worst teams that have the most shit-talking players.

Talking shit is a sign of a a lack of discipline.

The 49ers especially drilled it into their players' heads that the 5000 members of the media had one goal in mind -- to catch them off guard, to say something interesting to write about.

So with all that, Culliver knew he wasn't supposed to say something stupid.

    Yet he said something stupid.

    It's all his fault.

It's not Artie's fault at all.

Artie was doing his job -- being Artie.

Culliver wasn't doing his job -- which is, don't say anything that would distract the team.

Yeah.. Dan Patrick was doing his show at the time right next door... (duplicate) type building. I'm going to pull for the Ravens because the 49ers ruined the 80's for me and I like purple.

I hope Artie gets a 2 day a week $101,000,000 a year contract just to piss Howard off.

I'm rooting for the Niners ONLY because I like Jim Harbaugh. I don't really like the rest of the team, though.

And I'm rooting for the Niners because I get to see rioting on the news after the game, like what happened a few months ago when the Giants won the World Series. It's like reality TV.
