I fucking hate people that wear too much perfume or cologne. There ought to be a law.

Taking a walk in the park and the smoker is sitting on a bench smoking or walking on a trail smoking. Yes, they are outside but I don't want to smell it. What to do? Can both parties be happy?

Driving in my car on a warm day, I like to have the window rolled down (I have no A/C), person in front of me is smoking and I have to breathe it. Obviously I roll up the window until they are gone but on a hot day, swelter in the meantime.

My neighbor has two little girls. The neighbor next to them goes outside to smoke. They have to run around and shut all the windows because the smoke permeates their house. They don't want to be "that neighbor" so they haven't and won't say anything to them. But I think it's unfair because they have two little ones.

There is no way for smokers and non smokers to live in harmony right?

You need to get a grip on yourself... We are all faced with various smells & other inconveniences that we're not fond of throughout our life. This is something that cannot be regulated by any government agency.... Its simply a part of life. The Hydrocarbons given off through car exhaust are immensely more threatening to your health in comparison to someones burning cigarette from 10 yards out.... The sooner you come to terms with only worrying about those things in your control, the sooner you can begin to live your life in harmony

It's all dependent on the individual ..... I had a relatively easy time quitting cigarette smoking. I never slipped up, & never looked back.....Yet The first several months of Alcohol sobriety were torturous ,at times, for me...

I'm sure it is but I've received enough grief for lighting a cigar in someone's house.
