RIP little guy
There are few things sadder in life than when your pet dog passes
I think we can all identify with the loss of a pet...bush was a lousy president, but I'm sure he's grieving the loss of his dog.
Will Beth weigh in on this?

Barney was a cute little fella. They must be devastated. I just lost my pet a few months ago. I know how hard that is.
My comments are based on my opinion only.
Barney was the only good Bush.![]()
That Dummy W use to drop him.
They should've given Barney Cheney's transplanted heart to save the little fella.

i loved barney, and i didnt blame him for hating reporters

I'm really sad about that, but he could have waited until Howard was on vacation.
Awwww......I actually feel bad for Bush. Just lost my precious lil man two weeks ago after 16 years....I swear it's easier to lose relatives.
Team Anfkid!
how are you doing? when i lost my boy christmas of 2010, i didn't wait to get another dog. i'm so glad i didn't....it helps to fill the hole in your heart and it certainly doesn't disrespect the memory (i still cry when i look at pics of him. it was a short but very virulent form of cancer...i was in shock it happened so fast).

im gad you said that it doesnt disrespect.
ive had a lot of dogs in my life, but my abbey was the most special and when i lost her i didnt think i could or should replace her.
but after a year, i did get a puppy but i got a different breed so it wouldn't remind me of.
the other is still my fav, but my new buddy is cool

when you adopt/buy another dog or cat, you're saving them (even if you get them from a pet store. they're already born and the choice is to remain at the pet store forever or live in a home with someone who adores them).
i became friends with someone a few years back (sort of on a superficial level). one day we were having a little chat and it came out that she hates dogs (maybe fear based, i don't know)....i never thought of her the same way again and the friendship didn't progress any further.
IMO, anyone who doesn't love (or even like) animals has something seriously wrong emotionally.
what breed do you have now? i loved my first italian greyhound so i stuck with the breed. they have such different personalities...the first boy was shy and very quiet....the one who is my av is very gregarious and seduces everyone he meets. he's an incredible boy.
