I got nicked at the emergency vet a few years ago during Memorial Day weekend for $400. ER visit, exam and xrays because my 14 year old Sheltie had a distended belly and was in pain. Xrays confirmed that he needed to take a dump......which he did all over the vet's office. He wagged his tail the whole way home.
Nice......must have been an impressive stool to be felt from the outside! Kudos!
Our dog, Monty, is a notorious sissy when it rains out and it had been raining for a few days so even though he went out he probably just hid under a tree until he thought it was enough time that we'd let him back inside. Jerk!
Very similar to mine - 12.5 years old, had rigid stomach, gas, no appetite, and appeared to be uncomfortable. Vet originally thought he had some sort of blockage but Xrays just showed a lot of fluid and gas in his stomach. They also did some blood tests to make sure his organs were functioning OK and gave him an IV and a shot of Pepsid. Still don't know what caused it but they suspect he found something rotten laying around on the ground and ate it (the moron).
Mine had a "pussy" moment of his own a few years ago. Got up in the morning and could barely move and yelped every time he tried to. Rushed him to the Vet, turned out he had strained a neck muscle from running around in the deep snow the previous day. Took one muscle relaxer pill and was fine the next day.
ok, who writes "goo goo at a at a, fukin jew heeb"?
"fuckyoubigot i dont like you're sig" "repeated annoying comments"
The Lord is not my Shepherd for I am not a sheep.
i've got four cats, an IUD, a beer in my hand and 10 in the fridge. my barren womb feels fine knowing the pets will make do with a bowl full of food and the leaky sink faucet for the next twelve hours while i'm drunk/passed out
Let's see..I don't need to save to send my dog to college only to have them drop out b/c they partied too much, I have never had to bail my dog out of jail b/c he got a DUI while driving at 18, my dog has never knocked up the teenage female down the street, and my dog will never become addicted to drugs...
My friends kids on the other hand??? All of them have had to do at least one of these things.
