Artie on the Jay Thomas show today

I'm kind of surprised nobody started a thread here about the fact that Artie was on Jay's show today. Apparently he was making the rounds down in New Orleans. I was listening to Covino & Rich (who are on immediately prior to Jay) and they mentioned that they had been talking to Artie off-air.

Artie sounded great on Jay's show. He even briefly discussed some stuff that he had done on THSS. Maybe somebody out there has the audio (?)

He wasn't on Jays Friday 101 show. Jay was doing done radio row thing down at the Super Bowl. That must have been what he was on. I

Mad might be the wrong word. I'd used diminished. No one is supposed to succeed without the power of Wiggy behind them. Now here comes Artie who has been blackballed by Howard in a way that would do Orwell proud and he makes a success of himself. That's got to stick a pin in Howard's ego.

I would also say Howard might be scared that the subject of Artie's use of drugs as content for the HSS with full knowledge by Howard would come up. For the man who was forced to apologize to a fat woman for innocuous statements, something like that could be a mortal wound.

If there is any justice in the world, Artie will be there to nod out at Howard's funeral, and maybe throw a rosary at Beth.

EDIT: Nevermind, Beth won't be there, she'll be in Dubai with her millions.

Heard them talking about Artie but I did not hear Artie on Jays show. I caught most of the show too. Jay at least mentioned Artie has his own show and that nick was goine. What is up with Howard that he has to act like people who were once an integral part of his world don't exist any more.
