I've been bummed out for the last couple of months because I couldn't find a job. Been sending out dozens of applications without success etc. It's a boring and depressing process. I started my own business last year to have something to do at least. I'm getting clients now and last week one of them placed a pretty big order. So that's going well.

Then one of my friends who works in a fancy restaurant mentioned my name to one of the guests there when they told him they were looking for someone. They make software for big multinationals to manage their money. I got invited by them for a job interview and I got through the first round. They called me the day after the interview to come by again.

Then I got a call from a family member who knew some people who run a prestigious headhunter company who are looking for someone. Next week I'm going there for an interview as well.
