It's not on tonight...it will return with a new episode next week.
They needed to skip a week to extend the run of the show into May sweeps.
(..I think...and they might end up doing it again.)
The show has already been picked up for a second season on FX....but their ratings appear to be slowly sliding downward.
Let's see if the numbers picked up at all in the last few episodes.
It will be interesting to see how the show does on DVD leading up to the start of season two..if there actually will be a season two...which there
mostly likely will be.

I was wondering why it was off this week. What you said makes complete sense though.
Regarding Season 2, I'm almost 100% sure that it was ordered three episodes into the first.
I also think this show will grab some award noms which FX will trade for the lower ratings. I also bet the show grabs more fans once the show is available to binge watch.
I still need to watch Wednesday's episode...

Regarding last week's episode, the FBI Agent actions in particular -- I think the show might have, and fuck me for saying it, jumped the shark.
I like it but I could still be in "24" withdrawals.
YES! my avatar is fun and funny. Don't rep me..rep Spazz....he is the genius that crafted this piece of photoshop brilliance!!!
and "Raisins piss me off in general"....hats off Lou C for that!
The last episode was damn good, I didn't expect that ending.
I really hope the writing stays strong, and now I'm really ready for Stan to exact some revenge.
I didn't think that Keri Russel was right for her role as Elizabeth when I began watching this, but she has proved me wrong. She is great in this. And Matthew Rhys as Philip was another good casting. Both of them are understated on the surface in their roles, yet both of them are absolutely brutal in their loyalty to their cause. Even though Phillip is a little bit torn.
