Solid looking desk. I respect that you put it together yourself. I'm sure I COULD...but I'd likely just call my dad. I really should get better at this shit, 'cause I know I won't have him for forever.

Oh there's flathead. Ok, here's today's menu. This is more up your alley. For my 87 year old lady. All gluten-free, which is neither here nor there.

    Roasted Pork Tenderloin
    Roasted Sweet Potatoes
    Green Beans

    BBQ Meatballs
    Mashed Potatoes
    Carrots

    Baked Ziti

    Beef Tips
    Egg Noodles
    Sauteed Peas

    Roasted Chicken Thighs
    Roasted Potatoes
    Sauteed Corn

And I might make brownies as a treat, but I've never made them gluten-free before. So that might turn out, it might not.

She doesn't eat them all at once. That's 5 different dinners. 3 portions of each one. So I make 15 meals total.

So, you are referring to leftovers, MICROWAVED!!!!

Still sounds good, I just thought you were intensely against this practice.

No. I am not. These are not leftovers.
And I am not against that practice. As long as it's heated on 50% power, it's fine. (My senior people are the only ones who microwave, it's not my first choice, but it's better than having them burn the house down trying to heat things in the oven.)

You are a simple, simple man.

I had some seniors (an old couple) that gave me the heave ho. "This is just too much! We don't eat like this! Sometimes we just eat a piece of bread for dinner and that's it! That's it! Who needs all this! "

Yesterday morning for breakfast, I gave my boys a banana, a small bowl of yogurt, and split them a grilled cheese sandwich with a "dip-it" egg each. (aka, over easy, so they could dip their grilled cheese in it)

Momma got LOTS of love yesterday! Rain Bran this morning, though!

Oooooooooooooo grilled cheese sandwich with a dip-it egg. I wonder if LC would go for that for breakfast.

I don't mean to be rude, but please tell me your definition of "leftovers", if you are saying these are not. My comprehension of "leftovers" is something you cook today, but doesn't get eaten until a different day, and needs to be reheated.

I have room in my heart for EC's menus and grilled cheese.

Spinach, mushroom and feta omelet for breakfast this morning.
