They'd definitely be shocked at the Presidency and what it's become. They'd especially be shocked at the amount the White House spends and on what. They had no intention of it being a Monarchy. The first several Presidents had to spend their own money on medical care, meals, travel, etc. Most Presidents, up until the early 1900's, left office broke.

I think they would be proud. Didn't you ever see the time Ben Franklin was on Bewitched and he couldn't believe the modern day technology and how far this country had progressed.
