China hasn't really been Communist in decades, it's an autocracy now. Chiang Kai-Shek was never a fan of the New York Times and their Maoist sympathies in the 40's, anyway.

We didn't do jack shit to help Chiang Kai-Shek rebuild eastern China/Manchukuo after the Japanese ravaged it and created a power vaccuum for Russian backed Chinese Communists to fill, after he helped save our asses in WWII. The Journal is garbage anyway, the only decent conservative rags are The Weekly Standard and The National Review.
