Anybody ever had an ingrownn thumbnail?

It amazes me that such a tiny little lookin thang can hurt as much as it does.
I have been soaking in salt water for the past two weeks and it is not getting any better.

Should I go to "urgent care" or just cut it out with box-cutter?

I had to have part of left big toe nail surgically removed, then doctor applied some liquid to prevent that part of nail from growing back
