You seriously added Forrest to that list? Franklin was never considered world class, although I like Franklin but he never had any respect. The only legit contender was Hendo. Not to mention you dismiss Hughes as old but what's Hendo? And the only reason the Sonnen sub was a a highlight was Silva was getting manhandled the whole fight. You have a legit point that GSP doesn't seem to finish but that doesn't make him a paper champ. Like I said, let me know when Silva faces a true contender.

He beat Franklin, Bisping, Bablu, won StrikeForce LHW title, Fedor was old when Hendo beat him, but he still wen to HW to do it, and his last fight against Shogun that he won was FOTY. What did Hughes accomplish after GSP? Lost to Alves, beat Serra (garbage), beat Renzo Gracie (who was only in the UFC cause the Abu Dhabi royals like seeing him in tights), beat a declining Almeida (lost his mojo when he abandoned his school in Trenton) then lost to Penn and Koschek.

Yeah I added Forrest to the list. Fact that Silva went up in weigh to beat a former Champ says something. It was Forrest's first fight after dropping the title. AND, he didn't win the title w/ a lucky punch, he took Rampage (who was in his prime) 5 rounds. Forrest was a top5 LHW when Silva made him look like a absolute fool.

GSP will never have the resume that Spider has. They keep talking about a super fight w/ him and Silva, but that will never happen. GSP is like 5'9, Spider is 6'2 and can float to LHW. GSP is too small, and I think he'd come up with an injury rather than trade money for the ego hit.

Spider/ John Jones is the Super Fight to make. There are too many LW contenders to do GSP/Bendo Super Fight.

It is all moot anyway, cause Nick Diaz gonna get in his head. GSP gonna try dry humpin him and get subbed or he gonna try and stand with him and get peppered all night? GSP gonna fight not to lose and Diaz gonna fight to win. Shields threw one punch all fight, the over hand right. He hurt GSP with it once and just kept throwin it. Diaz gonna mix it up. And you keep going with Forrest as if he was legit. Unbelievable. And the fact that you are impressed by him "moving up" is equally impressive. You should be impressed that he can cut so much weight. Rampage in his prime? nother zinger. Let me guess, you thought Diaz beat Condit? The Diaz fight could be interesting. But those peppering blows didn't help Nate against Bendo I don't think they are going to work against GSP.

Dude, Rampage had just beat Lidell, who was invincible for quite some time, and Hendo, who came in as PRIDE champ & having just beat Wanderlai. Forrest took him 5 rounds and won the decision. It aint like he beat the the post A-Team lazy, only fighting to get a paycheck Rampage.

GSP is scared to get hit since the Serra fight, that's why he only stands w/ grapplers. If Nick can stay on his feet and zip some combos in there, he will hurt GSP. When GSP gets hurt, he wilts. Think Aaron Rodgers against the Giants in the playoffs last year. Every time Rodgers got pounded into the turf, by the animals Big Blue had rushing him, he wanted to get up less and less. He was soft arming passes into the turf late in the game cause he didn't want to get hit no more. That's GSP.

Flip side, against the 49ers, Eli was getting the snot knocked out of him everytime he went back to pass. He no sold every one and kept moving the team forward. That is Diaz. You seen how that nigga bleed from cuts on his cro mag fore head ridge? GSP woulda tapped to the sight of his own blood.
