Good for Artie
all pub is good pub.
He should be allowed to say whatever he wants; he should be smart enough to not say anything (well, not really, he seemed pretty dumb)
Nearly all skilled players are fuckin morons, it's just the nature of it, it's reaction and athleticism and these dumb fucks were really really good for a long time, not sure why we should take anything serious a dback or wr or linebacker says, they must have a median IQ of 75

Drudge Report has this as their major headline now lol. Artie got himself some good publicity by screwing this guy over who was nice enough to talk to him. I know he didn't make Culliver say it but Artie definitely knew what the reaction would be and what the buzz he'd get from it would be.

He prefaced the interview by saying that he hoped he wasn't going to get Culliver in trouble. I don't think he knew which player would say something like that, but I think he set out on media day hoping to find a lesser known player who would say something "controversial." Once someone said it, he knew the free publicity he'd get from it. No way did he not know that it would get play in the media ahead of the Super Bowl. Also, he finished the interview as soon as Culliver said what he did which made me think Artie knew he got the clip he wanted. I'm sure a lot of people were there at Media Day trying to get players to stumble into the same situation.

Like other posters said its not arties fault, the guy could of easily said "no comment" like the one guy did about the banging white women question. You really do have to be a compete numb skull to say that in front of the camera and not expect it to be blown out of proportion.

rarely watch PTI but for some reason i was yesterday. all of a sudden kornheiser goes: 'shock jock artie lange'. and i laughed.
dont know if it was posted in the thread but here it is:

its the first story they discuss, 40s in to the clip.
Good for Artie to get some attention, I suppose, but I'm so sick of this sanctimonious posturing. This isn't about anyone being seriously outraged at what was said, it's an opportunity for blowhards to seek public approval by feigning outrage.

You know it's big news when it gets picked up by swedens largest newspaper.
"Culliver was a guest at Artie Langes radio show “Tusday” on Yahoo Sports" lol
In soviet Sweden facts are irrelevant.
The kid got sandbagged by Artie. I feel bad for him. I don't think a Bro would have aired that interview.
I'm glad that Artie got some headlines but after listening to yesterday's show I wish he would lay off the "gay questions" to every other athlete that comes on the show. I listen to his show to get laughs, listen to sports talk and hear from Artie's fellow comedians and athletes in a much more laid back setting.
I don't listen so I can hear lectures about society and gay issues, we get enough of that elsewhere
Good job Artie.
Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest... It's about who came and never left your side.
