I'm not saying immigration isn't an issue, but none of the current plans are talking about blanket amnesty. When you hear the term "backdoor amnesty" that gets thrown around on the right, they are reffering to a student or other valuble professional who's visa runs out that may get a pass on deportation. They are not letting pablo who crossed illegally a month ago get full citizenship.
