i'm referring, of course, to making use of the same pen from initial purchase to its age of being empty of ink. imagine that pen as a tool for creative expression, and all the wonderful things that one could have written with that one pen.

somehow, i'm always using a different pen. all pens that i acquire are from promotional origins, never a purchase, and i've never remained loyal to one pen until its utter emptiness.

i admit, if i write more than a paragraph with a pen i feel uncomfortable.

a keyboard is more purposeful for me, frankly; so, i take a sip of hot water, lean back into my work chair, and input by means of a keyboard. a pen sits nearby, patiently waiting, perhaps a bit envious and neglected.

I could do my reprts on a computer but I actually prefer to hand write 'em. My mind works better for some reason and the writing has a better "flow" to it. I'm old.

I have 2 Fischer Space Pens and another cheapo but solid refillable pen, I prefer to use them and always keep refills on hand. Preferably ultra-fine .5mm refills. If I had money to burn, I'd collect an array of high quality writing apparatuses....
